Frequently Asked Questions

Purchase & Pricing

How much does it cost?

It's a one-time purchase — no subscription, no recurring fees. Three plans: Solo (1 seat) $149, Studio (up to 5 seats · recommended) $299, and Agency (unlimited seats) $799. Prefer to start from your use case? Use-case packs are $89 each. Every plan includes lifetime updates.

What's the difference between a use-case pack and a full plan (Solo/Studio/Agency)?

Use-case packs (SaaS Demo / Data-Viz Essentials / Social Ads, $89 each) license only the templates included in that pack, with 1 seat. Pack updates are limited to fixes for the included templates. Full plans (Solo/Studio/Agency) cover the entire 1,000+ component library and include lifetime updates, including new template additions.

How do team seats work?

Solo covers 1 user. Studio covers up to 5 users within a single organization. Agency covers unlimited users within a single organization. Seats may not be shared across separate legal entities. For arrangements beyond these tiers, contact us by email.

Do I need a separate Remotion license?

RenderComp is a pay-once template library. Remotion itself may require a separate Company License depending on the size of your commercial use (free for teams of 3 or fewer). We state this up front so there are no hidden costs.

Delivery, Downloads & License Keys

How is the product delivered?

Everything is delivered digitally. Right after checkout you land on a download page with your ZIP download link and license key, and the same information is sent to your order email. No account is required.

Can I re-download the ZIP?

Yes. The download link in your delivery email keeps working for re-downloads, and future updates are fetched from the same link. If the link stops working, email us with your order email address.

I lost my license key — can it be reissued?

Your license key is shown on the download page and included in your delivery email. If you can no longer find either, email us from (or mentioning) the email address you used at checkout and we will resend it.

License & Commercial Use

Can I use the templates commercially?

Yes. Commercial use is included in every plan — rendered videos can be used in client work and your own products. You cannot redistribute or resell the template source code itself. See the EULA for full details.

Can I use these for client work?

Yes. You can render videos and deliver those video files to clients. You cannot hand over the source code (.tsx/.ts files) to clients. See the EULA for full details.

Can I use this in a SaaS product?

Rendering videos through your SaaS and serving the rendered output is permitted. Exposing the template source code to your SaaS users is not. If you need a SaaS/API license, contact us.

Refunds

What is the refund policy?

Full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided the template ZIP has not been downloaded. Your download link and license are deactivated on refund. After download, or after 7 days, all sales are final due to the nature of digital goods (source code).

How do I request a refund?

Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase, provided the template ZIP has not been downloaded. Email [email protected] from the email address you used at checkout, including your order details and the reason. Once the refund is processed, your download link and license key are deactivated. Refunds are processed through Stripe, our payment provider.

Requirements & Usage

What are the system requirements?

Node.js 18+, Remotion v4.x, and React 18+. Templates are rendered with the Remotion CLI (free, open-source).

What exactly do I get?

Right after checkout you get a download link for a ZIP containing 1,000+ Remotion TypeScript components, plus your license key — on the download page and by email. Unzip, install, and render immediately. The same link works for re-downloads and future updates.

Do I need Remotion experience?

Basic React knowledge is enough. Each template is a self-contained component with clear props. You will need Node.js and the Remotion CLI (free, open-source).

What Remotion version do the templates target?

Templates target Remotion v4.x. We will update for major breaking releases when they occur.
